The 3 star rated Hotel Whala Solimar is situated around 50 metres from the Playa de Palma beach, in the lively resort of S'Arenal on the central south coast of Majorca.

The hotel is approximately 15km east of the capital Palma, 8km east of the Son Sant Joan International airport, and a few steps from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1960 and extensively renovated during the winter of 2015, Hotel Whala Solimar has a total of 126 guest rooms, including 97 twin rooms, 18 one bedroom self catering apartments and a further 11 studio flats, which are built over 6 floors.

All guest rooms are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace with exterior views.

In addition to the above features, apartments at the Hotel Whala Solimar also have an open plan kitchenette with electric cooking rings and refrigerator, as well as a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, all all rooms are provided with a maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian dishes, as well as a games room, laundry and medical services, and a lounge bar.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a small outdoor freshwater swimming pool, with integrated children's section, and sun terraces which are furnished with loungers and parasols.
